Summary
Tabby is a local URL scheduler. It does not sell, transmit, or share your schedules or activity with the developer, advertisers, or third parties.
Information Tabby handles
Tabby stores the information you enter to provide its scheduling features: schedule names, URLs, dates, times, recurrence choices, optional durations and end dates, active or paused status, background-opening preferences, and an activity log of scheduled actions.
How information is used
This information is used only to open, focus, and close the tabs you schedule; calculate upcoming runs; display your schedules; and show the activity log.
Storage and retention
Information is stored locally in Chrome using chrome.storage.local. Activity entries are automatically removed after the retention period you choose, which defaults to 14 days. Schedules and preferences remain until you delete them or uninstall Tabby.
Sharing and transfers
Tabby has no analytics, advertising, account system, remote service, or developer-operated server. It does not transmit stored information outside your browser and does not allow humans to read it.
Permissions
Tabby uses the alarms permission to trigger scheduled actions and the storage permission to save schedules, preferences, and activity locally. It requests no host permissions and cannot read page contents.
Your controls
You can edit or delete schedules at any time, clear the activity log from the dashboard or Settings, change log retention, and remove all Tabby data by uninstalling the extension.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Tabby's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide Tabby's visible scheduling functionality.
Support
For help with Tabby or another Chrome Web Store item, visit the official Chrome Web Store support guide and use the Support option on Tabby's store listing.
